The software is designed to support production and regrinding of milling, drilling and lathe tools.  There is a tool-kit PROFESSIONAL which is modularly designed to provide customized applications can be provided for a large number of tool geometries.

Handling:

The Tool-kit PROFESSIONAL has a clear and logical structure. There is automatic guidance in the software that helps user get through the setup and handling of the workpieces that are to be processed. The software is organized in three main areas i.e machine, wheel and tool data.

Online Help:

The data entry is supported by a graphical parameter definitions and an additional online help can be called at any time.

Visualization:

The tool-kit PROFESSIONAL offers 2D and 3D Visualization for tool, wheel data entries and the wheel path calculation. There is also an option for the machine model and the CNC kinetmatic simulation to be represented in 3D.

Database System:

The software has a specially developed database system to cater user requirements and are packed with time-optimized access to workpiece, wheel and technology data. It has a top down architecture which ensures the input data to get automatically minimized in every step of the production process. Thus the complete grinding process including technology data is recorded in the database enabling perfect reproduction of a previously optimized process.

Presetting:

There is an option to create preset values in the form of tables for tool families. The tool can be automatically generated and loaded directly into the machine with the push of a button.

Collision Control:

The program is supplied with a collision controller. The analysis of all collision relevant objects can be carried out when the machine code is generated. A graphical visualization thus facilitates the detailed recording of all possible collision situations to help easily analyze and correct errors during data entry or wheel setup.

Tool Probing:

The Tool-kit PROFESSIONAL also supports all standard probe systems. It has its own probing routines for the different tool geometries. It also has an interface for external measurement systems.
