WEICON Aluminium Minute Adhesive is an odourless, two-component epoxy adhesive filled with aluminium. It cures fast at room temperature and practically without shrinkage. After curing, the adhesive can be machined (filing, drilling, milling). Aluminium Minute Adhesive is gap-filling and non-dripping (thixotropic) and shows very high tensile, impact and peel strength. The adhesive is particularly suitable for bonding aluminium and other light metals. It can be used for filling cracks and holes on aluminium housings, for example, and for repairing light alloy wheels. In order to achieve optimal adhesion, the bonding surfaces should be dry and free from grease or dirt. Scraping or sanding the surfaces before cleaning additionally improves adhesion.

• Smooth surfaces should be roughened, e.g. by sandblasting. ProcessingWEICON Easy-Mix products can be processed directly from the double cartridges with the help of the included static mixer. Reject the first 5 cm of the dosed bead. Apply adhesive to only one of the surfaces to be bonded. The pot life given is for a material quantity of 10 ml at room temperature. If larger quantities are used, the curing time will be faster. Similarly, higher ambient temperatures shorten the cure times (as a rule of thumb, every +10°C increase above room temperature will halve working and curing time). Temperatures below +16°C will extend working and curing times considerably, while below about +5°C, no reaction will take place at all.

The assembly paste was developed to resist extreme conditions. It is highly sticky, water repellent and resistant to sweet, salt and hot water as well as steam. The high nickel component furthermore provides protection against corroding and corrosive solvents which are contained in diluted hydrochloric acid, sulphur or nitric acid, among others. Anti-Seize Nickel can be applied at a large temperature range between -30°C to +1,450°C.

Anti-Seize Nickel serves as corrosion protection and highperformance fitting grease for static and dynamically extremely stressed screw connections and installation parts and the application at slowly rotating system in the high-temperature range.

The paste protects against corrosion, seizing, wear, stick-slip effects, oxidation and friction corrosion as well as electrolytic reactions, the so-called cold-sealing.
